What we do

What We Do

We teach the Bible to your kids on their level.

We believe Jesus when he said all it takes is the faith of a child. That’s why everything we do is centered around helping kids understand the Bible, memorize scripture, and know Jesus loves them and their friends.

But it doesn’t just happen at church! Our goal is to partner with you to help make little, everyday moments discipleship opportunities so your kids can discover the purpose Jesus has for them and have a flourishing childhood with him.

What’s a Sunday like?

Check In

If it’s your first time with us, you’ll want to head to the kids desk on the left side of the building and find the area labeled, “Guest.”

From there, a King’s Cross Kids volunteer will meet you to help you get checked in and answer any questions you have.

Once checked in, you’ll receive a security sticker for both you and your child. You’ll also have the chance to let us know any medical needs or special instructions your child needs while you’re in service.

After service, simply show your security sticker to your child’s teacher and they’ll help you gather anything you brought with you so you can be on your way.

Service + Curriculum

We have age specific areas so kids can learn Gospel truths in the way that’s best for their age. While each room is different, every kid will have the opportunity to sing songs, play games, do an activity, and hear a Bible lesson. We even send home additional materials so you can continue the conversations at home throughout the week!

Our lessons are provided by The Gospel Project for Kids. We chose this curriculum because it helps us reinforce the idea that the Gospel truly changes every piece of who we are. While you are learning about God’s redemption story and how he has a purpose for your life in our auditorium, your kids will be learning the exact same thing in their classrooms.

4th–5th Grade

The Bridge

We are excited to announce that our NEW program for 4th and 5th grade students has started, and in their very own space! This program is tailored specifically towards their age group, and will have fun & engaging activities, and most importantly, gospel centered lessons straight from the Bible- on their age level!

Our encouragement to you- pick a service (the Bridge is available in either 9:30am or 11am) and commit to it, so your child can develop lasting relationships with their peers and leaders! See you Sunday and invite a friend!

**4th and 5th graders will check in on the iPads outside the Next Gen door.  Because they are older, parents will not receive a security tag.  The Bridge is in a secure area with locked doors and only adults with  cleared background checks are able to be in this area during ministry programming.
